The Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) is a leading international partnership practicing contemporary architecture, urbanism and cultural analysis. It is engaged in a large number of projects in Europe, Asia and North America. OMAs think tank AMO is a research group created to apply architectural thinking to purposes other than the realization of built projects.
To accommodate the diversity of the companys interests, OMA maintains offices in North America (OMA New York), Europe (OMA Rotterdam), and Asia (OMA Beijing).
From its headquarters in The Netherlands, OMA maintains a substantial catalogue of European work. Next to that, most of the companys initial competition designs, including those for non-European projects, originate from the Rotterdam office.
